The Arthurs staff is committed to continuous growth and improvement and provides a culture for learning by working together. The programs and opportunities that BAMS provides enable our students to have many experiences to grow in their own individuality academically, socially, and emotionally. 

Our middle school’s athletic program philosophy follows:

1. Coaches and staff encourage all students to play a variety of sports.
2. Coaches and staff encourage the experience of team play and sportsmanship as a valued life skill.
3. Coaches will supersede the goal of winning with the goal of participation and player development.
4. Coaches will work to ensure quality playing time for all members of their teams.

Currently Arthurs Athletics Offers:

• 12 interscholastic sports teams
• 4 seasons
• "No Cut" policy so every student has an opportunity to participate

• Arthurs is only one of fourteen Michigan Middle Schools to be designated as a “Schools to Watch” by the National Forum.
