The Arthurs Jazz Band will be performing with the Paul Keller Orchestra at the Zal Gaz Grotto in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Monday, May 5, 2025!

The Paul Keller Orchestra (http://paulkellerjazz.com) is one of Michigan’s finest, most respected, and well-traveled jazz big bands. The PKO has performed every Monday night for over 30 years in Ann Arbor — first at the Bird of Paradise Jazz Club, then the Firefly Club, followed by The Keystone Martini Bar, and now at their current home: The Zal Gaz Grotto (https://zalgaz.org). Since its founding in 1989 by string bassist, composer, and arranger Paul Keller, the PKO has maintained the highest standards of musical excellence, entertaining a loyal fan base with top-quality jazz. Their extensive library includes over 1,000 classic, obscure, and original big band arrangements spanning the entire history of jazz.

This will be our 12th consecutive annual performance with Paul! Each one has been a truly special event. It’s a highlight of the year for our students to collaborate and perform with Paul and his outstanding band.

Here is the schedule for Arthurs families:

• 7:00 PM – Arrive at the Zal Gaz Grotto and enjoy the first set by the Paul Keller Orchestra.
• 8:00 PM – Arthurs Jazz Band performance. We will perform a 30-minute set of our best material. Paul Keller and his musicians will join us for one or two tunes before continuing their evening program.
